During a 3 day visit Mrs. Claude Bergeret, ITTF Vice President, and Mr. Jordi Serra, ITTF Executive Director, have thoroughly inspected the 2010 WTTC proposed hotels, AGM venue, and the Ñhampionships venue – the Olympiysky Sports Complex. They have also attended Bid Presentation and press briefing with local sports media. Separate meetings and functions were held with the Deputy-Mayor of Moscow Mr. Valery Vinogradov and TTFR President Mr. Igor Levitin. The visit concluded on April 14th with the launch of the “Peoples Games” International Table Tennis Festival where Mrs. Claude Bergeret has addressed Moscow’s table tennis enthusiast. ITTF representatives have highly attested Moscow’s capabilities to host the World Table Tennis Championships and confirmed that Moscow constitutes a strong bid. In particular Commission members commended Olympiysky Sports Complex, proposed hotels and general city infrastructure. Along with that Commission made a number of critical comments and suggested some improvements to Moscow’s Bid.
